Privacy policy

Plumbline is a Telegram bot run by an individual, Joshua Mhone. I am the person responsible for your data. You can reach me at joshuamhone9@gmail.com.

What I store

• Your Telegram user id. This is a number Telegram gives your account. I need it to count your checks and know your plan. I do not store your name, username or phone number.
• Usage counters. How many checks you made each day, so the free limit works.
• Check history. For each check: whether it was a link or wallet, the domain and path shown in the result (without the part after “?”), the verdict level and the time. It is deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Plan and payment records. When Pro runs out, and for each Stars payment: the Telegram payment id, product, amount and time. I never see your card or bank details; Telegram handles payment.
• Things you choose to create. Watchlist items (up to five) and reports you submit.
• Short-lived technical data. The text of a result is cached for up to an hour so the buttons under it work, and the verdict for a link or address is cached for five minutes. Rate-limit counters are kept for a day or two.

What I do not store

Your messages other than the link or address you ask me to check, your contacts, your location, or any advertising identifier. Logs record that something happened, not what you sent.

Who else sees data

• Telegram carries every message and payment.
• Cloudflare hosts the bot and its database, and answers DNS lookups for domains you check.
• Domain registries receive a lookup for a domain's registration date.
• The site you check receives a request from Plumbline's servers, not from you. It sees Plumbline's address, not yours.
• TON Center receives the wallet address you check, to read public blockchain data.

I do not sell data, run ads or share it for marketing.

Why and how long

I use this data to provide the service you asked for, to enforce limits and to handle payments and refunds. Check history lasts 30 days. Payment records last as long as your account does, because I need them to honour refunds. Reports last until you delete your data.

Your choices

• /deletemydata in the bot erases everything above at once, including reports and watchlist items. It also stops any renewing subscription. Remaining Pro time and refund eligibility are lost, and Telegram keeps its own record of Stars payments.
• You can ask me for a copy of what is stored about you, or ask me to correct it, at joshuamhone9@gmail.com.
• You can stop using the bot at any time. Without a request, accounts that have never used it are not contacted.

Messages from the bot

The bot writes to you when you use it and, for Pro, to warn that your time is ending or that a watched item got worse. It sends no marketing.

Children

Plumbline is not meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the bot will tell you and the date above will change.
